Directions to Monk Fryston village
Monk Fryston is situated on the A63, approximately 3 miles east of the A1(M). Please note that recent upgrades to the A1(M) may have rendered older maps obsolete!
On show days look out for our ‘Show’ signs posted on the main access routes.
From the A1(M)
Take the A63 Selby exit from the A1 (junction 42) and follow the sign posts to Selby and then Monk Fryston. You will cross a medium sized roundabout shortly after leaving the A1. Less than a mile after crossing the roundabout and upon entering the village you will cross a railway bridge. Take the first road on the left immediately afterwards, doubling back as if to re-cross the railway, but take the right turn immediately before the second railway bridge into Ingthorpe Lane.
Follow this road for approx 400yds and then turn right. Homestead Livery Yard is 30yds down on your left hand side.
From Selby
Take the A63 West out of Selby. Shortly after entering the village, you will pass Monk Fryston hall, then the Blue Bell pub on your right hand side. Turn right onto Lumby Lane, signposted ‘South Milford’. Before crossing the railway bridge turn right into Ingthorpe Lane.
Follow this road for approx 400yds and then turn right. Homestead Livery Yard is 30yds down on your left hand side.
If you find yourself heading out of Monk Fryston having missed the turn onto Lumby Lane, don’t panic! Just sack your navigator, go around the roundabout and come back in for another shot.
