Homestead Livery and Riding Club

There are many innovations this year including big changes to the show jumping format, veteran horse society Olympia area qualifiers, a working hunter course and new classes including Ideal Partners and Concours d’Elegance.

On the riding club side of things, in addition to the regular thursday evening show jumping and dressage and combined training days we’re going to be running a brand new show cross event. Following the September show, the final championship standings are now available on the Homestead web site.

Thanks to everyone who came and made the last show day special! Trophies and rosettes will be awarded at the presentation evening, this Saturday 25th October. Tickets are £12 per person, which includes a buffet – contact Tracy for more information. Hope to see you all there!

Well, what a great start to the ‘08 show season that was! A warm welcome to new club members joining us on the day, and of course well done to everyone who took part and extra special congratulations if you came away with rosettes and/or silverware.

Photos from the in-hand and ridden classes are now available at jumpforit.co.uk, our show photographers this season, with a range of print options at very reasonable prices. Show jumpers might like to keep an eye on the A&R site – unless of course, like some of us, you had a round that you’d rather forget…
