Club news – August & September 2010
Thanks again to the great weather we have had the June & July Shows were very well attended – despite the World Cup clash in June. It has also been great to see a huge increase in the number of spectators as well!
The Dressage & CT in June was also a great success with almost 40 entries as was the Show Cross in early July. The new XC fences have been very well received, and the events so far have been a great opportunity to “have-a-go”, with no time or elimination pressure!

Dressage & Combined Training: Sun 12th September
Tests: Intro A, P10, P12 (CT), N28 – entry forms at the yard or download from the Riding Club page. Entries must be received by the preceding Wednesday, please phone for your times on the preceding Friday.
Evening Show Jumping (starting 1st July)
Thursday Evenings: 5pm – 6pm Clear Round, 6.00pm Double Clears (Novice), followed by Chase-me-Charlie. Please call to confirm classes will be running.
Show Cross – new for 2010!
30th August & 18th September.
Show jumping round followed by a minimus XC Course (XC not to exceed 60cms). Pre-entry available or enter on the day.
Riding Club Presentation Evening
Sat 13th November, at The Blue Bell, Monk Fryston. Buffet Meal & Entertainment.
Tickets: £10 U16 / £15 16+ (tickets must be bought by 31/10/2010).
Remember you need to be there to collect your trophy otherwise it will go to the next highest placed combination.
PLEASE can the holders of last years’ trophies return them on or before the 26th Sept (i.e. at the last show of the season).
