Summer is over, what Summer I hear you all cry! At least we had the Olympics this year to inspire us, especially the Event Team and Tina Cook. Personally, I’m trying to be Dressage Star Emma Hindle, although I’m not sure Norman is on the same wavelength!

I don’t know about you but I think there is definitely a nip in the air though – I’m off to hunt out the rugs… As usual here’s the list of clinics and events for the next 2 months:

2008 Competitions & Activities

Dressage Sunday 14th September

In a last ditch attempt to encourage you to join in the Dressage Competitions, the final competition will have 2 classes – Prelim & Novice and the entry fee has been reduced to £5 for members (£6 for non-members).

The Tests are:

• Class 1: pick your own from P7 or P10 (please specify which one on your entry form)
• Class 2: N32

So go on – have a go! Entry forms here. Entries must be in by 5pm Wed before Competition, ring Tracy for times 3 – 6pm Friday.

2008 Points Show – Sunday 28th September 2008

In-Hand, Ridden, Clear Round & Show Jumping Classes. Points accumulate for the Perpetual Trophies. Full details of classes and entry forms will be available on the Homestead website. Remember you must be a member of the riding club to be eligible for the Perpetual Trophies.

PLEASE RETURN YOUR 2007 TROPHIES TO TRACY ON OR BEFORE THE SEPTEMBER SHOW

Saturday 25th October – Trophy Presentation Night

Wheatsheaf, Sherburn-in-Elemet 7.00pm till late Tickets £12.00 per person (to include buffet).

Don’t forget – if you don’t come you forfeit your Trophy!
